Hailing Frequencies Open

From 2256 to 2257, the brutal conflict of The Federation–Klingon War left scars that have yet to completely heal. Though a fragile peace endures, it remains strained, compounded by the looming and persistent danger of the Gorn Hegemony and other galactic threats.
Cold-blooded, relentless, and deeply territorial, the Gorn have entrenched themselves across large portions of the Beta Quadrant and continue to press their claws further into the flesh of the Alpha Quadrant. Their assault on the Federation colony at Parnassus Beta in 2259 signaled that open conflict that continues to spread.
In the aftermath of these events, the Arcadia enters a new chapter. Now 2261, the ship’s continuing mission is entrusted to Captain William H. Abernathy, a seasoned officer whose career in security and command has been defined by preparation, restraint, and resolve. Under his leadership, the Arcadia resumes her role as a stabilizing presence during an uncertain era.
Tasked with continuing on its five-year mission, the Arcadia works to bridge relationships within the Federation and among its allies, strengthen the Federation's defensive readiness, provide aid and relief to worlds still recovering from war, and safeguard the Federation's interests without surrendering its ideals.

Mission: Forgotten Wounds
Posted on Sat Feb 28th, 2026 @ 5:49pm by Captain William Abernathy & Lieutenant Commander Sabastian Walker & Lieutenant Lanna Alexander
Of all the therapy sessions to have lined up, Lanna hadn’t been expecting this one but she wasn’t one to shy away from a challenge either. She had to admit having a reprimand put on her file wasn’t the happiest moment of her career, but she wouldn’t let that get her down. Her office was ready, some chilled water sat waiting along with empty glasses now all she needed was Abernathy and Sabastian.
Sabastian sighed as he stared at the door. T'Prel had been clear. She wanted Alexander to lead the sessions and T'Prel would take care of his personal…

ON:
Poe walked around the full mess hall looking for a place to sit and he found it with a familiar face. Elyse White. He walked over. "Hello Commander. May I sit with you?"
Elyse looked up from a small screen and smiled, "if you're just sitting, I assume that means no hug?" The smallest of humoured smirks crossed her lips. She gestured to the chair opposite, a clear indication that she was ok with the company.
He laughed nervously. "No hugs. People are not...open to them on this ship. Kind of feels lonely but I guess I will adapt…

With the Captain agreeing to her suggestion of a “Get to know you” party for the crew, Lanna had arranged a party on the holodeck. Between a beach party and a popular pool side party venue on Risa, she had chosen to go with Risa as her choice of location. Setting everything up on the holodeck, she had sent out an invitation to all crew to attend the poolside party at their leisure. She wasn’t sure if Sebastian would bother, but she was hoping there would be a good turn out.
Walking into the holodeck in her swimsuit with removable…

Cotton balls. That is what was in his mouth. Dry, moisture sucking cotton balls and probably something decaying and rotten. Then there was the pounding in his head that rivaled Nausiccan Tayben drums and felt as if the heal of a foot connected with his head with every drum strike.
Sabastian groaned and chanced opening his eyes. The light was dim but it still stung like the lash of a whip directly to his skull. He groaned again and then regretted it the vibration having caused more pain.
"You going to throw up again, Sir?"
Sabastian yelped jumping and…

ON:
T'Prel waited for Counselor Alexander to answer the phone. She was one of the few Vulcans that didn't mind waiting. She enjoyed it. Let her mind run through things. The Coms officer had said Alexander was finishing a session so she would wait.
Having wrapped up her session Lanna hurried to answer T’Prel’s call. Sitting down she smiled as she greeted T’Prel. “Greetings Captain T’Prel.”
T'Prel gave a nod. "Hello Counselor Alexander. Thank you for agreeing to speak with me. Our call will have three components to it. The Captain T'Prel of Starfleet Medical Counseling division portion, the I…

Tanina stood beneath the canopy of fairy lights strung between the old olive trees, her hand resting lightly on Dario’s arm. The warm breeze carried the laughter and music from the dance floor, blending with the scents of lavender and the faint tang of wine from the surrounding vineyards. Her eyes found Adrianna and Vance among the dancers, their movements fluid and effortless as if they had been made for each other.
“She’s beautiful,” Dario said softly, his voice low and filled with pride.
Tanina glanced at him, a tender smile curving her lips, “She is. More beautiful than I…

The Baciami family vineyard glowed under the warm embrace of the late afternoon sun. Rows of vines stood proudly, the leaves rustling gently in the breeze as though whispering secrets of love and legacy. In her childhood bedroom, Adrianna stood before a full length mirror, suddenly feeling quite nervous. The delicate lace of her wedding gown glowed softly in the light streaming through the open window. It had been carefully preserved, tucked away for decades– Tanina’s wedding dress, now hers.
The old wooden door creaked open. Adrianna turned to see her mother step inside, a bouquet of lavender, rosemary and…

My Vance,
This is the last letter I’ll write to you before I become your wife.
I wanted to tell you that the promise I made to you years ago, when you gave up trying to kiss me-- I've not gone through with it. I've not told the officiant to change the wording of the ceremony from ‘you may now kiss the bride' to 'you may now stare longingly and awkwardly at the bride from a respectable distance’.
Anyway, by the time you read this, I’ll be hours away from walking down the aisle, ready to stand before the man…

*** Some Years Ago ***
The party had finally ended, and the villa was silent. The hum of celebration, the clinking of glasses, and the warmth of family laughter had faded into the hush of the countryside. Adrianna’s family had gone to bed, their joy giving way to the heavy stillness of sleep. All but Giovanni, who stood on the balcony, his broad frame silhouetted against the silver glow of the moon. He held a ring box in his hand, turning it idly as his dark eyes scanned the vineyard stretching endlessly below.
Adrianna found him there, her footsteps were…

The vineyard shimmered under the soft glow of fairy lights strung delicately between the olive trees, casting their warm light over the rows of tables set for tomorrow’s celebration. The scent of blooming jasmine and freshly tilled earth mingled with the cool evening breeze, carrying a sense of tranquillity that Adrianna found both soothing and bittersweet. She stood at the edge of the vineyard, her gaze sweeping over the familiar land that had been her family’s pride for generations, the place where so many memories had been made.
The entire place looked like a fantasy. It was ready for the…
