Launched in the 2240s, among the earliest of the Constitution-class starships, the USS Arcadia helped reignite the Federation’s foundational purpose: to seek out new life and new civilizations, boldly and responsibly, even as escalating tensions threatened to eclipse exploration with war.

From 2256 to 2257, the brutal conflict of The Federation–Klingon War left scars that have yet to completely heal. Though a fragile peace endures, it remains strained, compounded by the looming and persistent danger of the Gorn Hegemony and other galactic threats.

Cold-blooded, relentless, and deeply territorial, the Gorn have entrenched themselves across large portions of the Beta Quadrant and continue to press their claws further into the flesh of the Alpha Quadrant. Their assault on the Federation colony at Parnassus Beta in 2259 signaled that open conflict that continues to spread.

In the aftermath of these events, the Arcadia enters a new chapter. Now 2261, the ship’s continuing mission is entrusted to Captain William H. Abernathy, a seasoned officer whose career in security and command has been defined by preparation, restraint, and resolve. Under his leadership, the Arcadia resumes her role as a stabilizing presence during an uncertain era.

Tasked with continuing on its five-year mission, the Arcadia works to bridge relationships within the Federation and among its allies, strengthen the Federation's defensive readiness, provide aid and relief to worlds still recovering from war, and safeguard the Federation's interests without surrendering its ideals.

ON:

Sabastian looked to his screen. There was a call waiting from a familiar ship. He sighed. Tapping the coms section he watched the screen shift from the Starfleet logo into a familiar face. "Gio. Hello."

Giovanni looked exhausted, his eyes a little sunken. "Hi Sebastian," he offered a small smile in greeting, but it didn't particularly last, "I heard about Zai. My condolences. If you need anything. Please let me know."

Sabastian studied him. "You look like you've gone through it with a Nausiccan warrior. What's going on?"

Gio ran his fingers through his head and chuckled, but it…

ON:

Aiden stood watching the shuttles lift off. His was set to go shortly there was one more person to come. A fellow Arcadian. He was excited and wondered who it could be. The person was important enough to hold the shuttle but he wondered if it was the Captain him or herself. He hoped not he was a mess of excitement and was constantly told that he was much. The last thing he wanted to do was upset the new CO.

December on Earth. It was still a sight to beholden to, weather modification and control technology aside, there…

Posted on Thu Jan 8th, 2026 @ 10:03pm by Lieutenant Commander Sabastian Walker & Lieutenant Lanna Alexander

ON:

Sabastian stared out the window as the shuttle made its way to the ship. Lanna Alexander would be there to greet him. He didn't want to see anyone. He didn't want to be here but he had no choice. In a moment of pure emotion he hated the ship, the crew everything. Fang was the only one who knew what had happened.

"Commander Walker we're heading into the ship. Please sit back. Five minutes to landing."

He said nothing, moved not an inch. Time seemed to crawl as the shuttle landed and the Ensign opened the door.

~ Present Day – Conference Room ~

His thoughts were interrupted by the hiss of the door. He looked up. “Lee, Fang. Why am I not surprised to see you…”

Fang sighed. “Can we talk?”

“If we must.”

Fang pulled out a chair and sat down. “I am so sorry Sabastian.”

Sabastian clutched his fists. “Every single person is sorry. The Vulcans are sorry, the monks who couldn’t look out for themselves were sorry, my family was sorry, Sorry does not bring him back!”

Fang pressed his lips together. “That’s true. I can’t imagine…”

“No you cannot.” Sabastian looked…

Fang pressed the chime on Adri and Vince's quarters. He sighed, he was tired, beyond exhausted but he had a job to do.

Adrianna groaned, "I swear, we are not permitted to have a date night, lately." Looking up from the sofa, she said, "enter." And sipped her wine. "Fang? Are you alright? She looked concerned seeing his tired eyes.

"Yeah. The engineers are just grating on me. Station has it's own ideas. Anyway I have...some news. Can we sit?"

"If my husband is adding to that frustration, I am sure that I can help," she playfully glared at…

Tanina stood beneath the canopy of fairy lights strung between the old olive trees, her hand resting lightly on Dario’s arm. The warm breeze carried the laughter and music from the dance floor, blending with the scents of lavender and the faint tang of wine from the surrounding vineyards. Her eyes found Adrianna and Vance among the dancers, their movements fluid and effortless as if they had been made for each other.

“She’s beautiful,” Dario said softly, his voice low and filled with pride.

Tanina glanced at him, a tender smile curving her lips, “She is. More beautiful than I…

Posted on Wed Jul 16th, 2025 @ 3:52pm by Lieutenant Adrianna Baciami

The Baciami family vineyard glowed under the warm embrace of the late afternoon sun. Rows of vines stood proudly, the leaves rustling gently in the breeze as though whispering secrets of love and legacy. In her childhood bedroom, Adrianna stood before a full length mirror, suddenly feeling quite nervous. The delicate lace of her wedding gown glowed softly in the light streaming through the open window. It had been carefully preserved, tucked away for decades– Tanina’s wedding dress, now hers.

The old wooden door creaked open. Adrianna turned to see her mother step inside, a bouquet of lavender, rosemary and…

» Letter: From a Nervous Bride with Love

Posted on Wed Jul 16th, 2025 @ 3:52pm by Lieutenant Adrianna Baciami

My Vance,

This is the last letter I’ll write to you before I become your wife.

I wanted to tell you that the promise I made to you years ago, when you gave up trying to kiss me-- I've not gone through with it. I've not told the officiant to change the wording of the ceremony from ‘you may now kiss the bride' to 'you may now stare longingly and awkwardly at the bride from a respectable distance’.

Anyway, by the time you read this, I’ll be hours away from walking down the aisle, ready to stand before the man…

*** Some Years Ago ***

The party had finally ended, and the villa was silent. The hum of celebration, the clinking of glasses, and the warmth of family laughter had faded into the hush of the countryside. Adrianna’s family had gone to bed, their joy giving way to the heavy stillness of sleep. All but Giovanni, who stood on the balcony, his broad frame silhouetted against the silver glow of the moon. He held a ring box in his hand, turning it idly as his dark eyes scanned the vineyard stretching endlessly below.

Adrianna found him there, her footsteps were…

The vineyard shimmered under the soft glow of fairy lights strung delicately between the olive trees, casting their warm light over the rows of tables set for tomorrow’s celebration. The scent of blooming jasmine and freshly tilled earth mingled with the cool evening breeze, carrying a sense of tranquillity that Adrianna found both soothing and bittersweet. She stood at the edge of the vineyard, her gaze sweeping over the familiar land that had been her family’s pride for generations, the place where so many memories had been made.

The entire place looked like a fantasy. It was ready for the…
