These Are the Continued Voyages

Dear fellow writers,

As many of you may know, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, the series that has served as one of our primary anchor for telling stories aboard the USS Arcadia, is approaching its final season, with its last six episodes on the horizon. While it's bittersweet to see this chapter of Star Trek come to a close, I want to reassure everyone of one very important thing: the USS Arcadia isn't going anywhere!

When asked several of you to build Arcadia with me it was after deciding that we had exhausted ourselves with several years of writing on the USS Standing Bear. Our goal has always been about more than following the events of a television series. We've built our own characters, relationships, histories, and adventures, and there are still countless stories left to tell. The end of Strange New Worlds is not the end of our journey. Far from it!

As we move forward, we may find ourselves charting more original territory, developing new story arcs, and exploring ideas that take the Arcadia beyond the familiar boundaries of the series. We can also look toward Star Trek: The Original Series for inspiration, guidance, and a glimpse of the future that awaits Starfleet. We have an entire galaxy of possibilities at our fingertips, and I am excited to see what we create together.

Star Trek has always been about exploration, discovery, and boldly venturing into the unknown. Those ideals aren't going to disappear just because a television series reaches its conclusion. If anything, this gives us an opportunity to stretch our creative wings, strengthen our own corner of the Star Trek universe, and take our stories in exciting new directions.

So, keep writing, keep plotting, keep developing your characters, and keep bringing your ideas to the table. Whether we're revisiting familiar territory or venturing into completely uncharted space, there's still plenty of adventure ahead for the crew of the USS Arcadia.

Our mission continues. Our stories continue. And our destination remains the same: beyond the furthest stars!
